Fallon & Byrne is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support food preparation and maintain high standards of cleanliness in a bustling kitchen environment. You will work as part of a friendly, professional team, performing essential prep support and ensuring all areas are clean, sanitised and well organised throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates will have prior Kitchen Porter experience, a keen eye for detail, and a positive, collaborative attitude that aligns with our values and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation process.
• Carry out basic cleaning tasks quickly.
• Collect and wash pots and pans.
• Clean crockery and cutlery; ensure prep areas are clean and ready.
• Unload equipment and food from deliveries.
• Keep storeroom organised.
• Maintain clean and sanitised work surfaces, floors and walls.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the food preparation process.

• Carrying out basic cleaning tasks as fast as possible.

• Collecting and washing up pots and pans.

• Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.

• Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.

• Ensuring the storeroom remains organised.

• Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised.
