Job summary

Sun Life DMS in Waterford is seeking a contract/Co-Op Full Stack Web Developer to join our Database Inventory System team. You will design, implement, and optimize a full stack solution in an Agile environment, with emphasis on clear documentation and stakeholder communication.

Ideal candidates are third-year students with Java and ReactJS experience, familiar with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL Server, and cloud basics.

Qualifications

• Programmatic internship; third-year students required to complete internship.
• Experience with Java and ReactJS for web development.
• Familiarity with SQL Server databases and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Play a major role in helping to build out the Java development team.
• Have an opportunity to influence how DMS software evolves.
• Help migrate legacy code to a Java based web language.
• Work closely with developers to provide scalable solutions.
