Job summary

Version 1 in Ireland is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular) to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications across front-end and back-end. You will work in an agile team, deliver RESTful APIs and champion quality through tests and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong experience with Java and the Spring Boot/Spring Framework ecosystem.
• Solid experience building modern web apps with Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with automated testing, unit testing and TDD.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with Tomcat and container-based deployments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and CI/CD.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with application servers and containers such as Tomcat.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Experience delivering solutions within the UK public sector or GDS-aligned environments.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
