Job summary

Citi is seeking a UI Technical Lead for the Lightspeed frontend team in Dublin. The role balances hands-on coding with leadership, code reviews, mentorship and driving the UI architecture from idea to delivery.

You will work with Product, Design, Backend and Platform teams, champion AI-assisted development, and own the component library while ensuring high-quality, secure code across the Lightspeed UI.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in frontend engineering and technical leadership.
• Hands-on in Angular and TypeScript with modern frontend practices.
• Experience with React and production-grade frontend development.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture including micro-frontends and scalable state management.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture and engineering practices across Lightspeed UI.
• Lead design reviews, mentor the team and drive code quality.
• Develop production software for complex features and performance improvements.
• Manage component library and design system integration.
• Collaborate with Backend and Platform Engineering on CI/CD patterns.
