Job summary

Citi Dublin is seeking a UI Developer to help build and evolve the user-facing experience of Lightspeed, a flagship CI/CD platform used by thousands of engineers. You’ll work across Angular and React applications, delivering intuitive interfaces and solving complex frontend challenges.

You’ll collaborate with product and design, write clean, tested code, and contribute to platform improvements while using AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

• Extensive frontend/UI development experience in large codebases.
• Strong Angular (modern v18+) experience; Lightspeed runs on Angular v21.
• Proficient React (v18+), with hooks and state management.
• Strong TypeScript, including strict typing.
• HTML5, CSS3, responsive design with Flexbox and Grid.
• Experience with Git workflows and code reviews.
• Experience with unit/integration tests (Jest, Karma, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Familiar with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Understanding of clean code and SOLID principles.
• Comfortable in Kanban and collaboration with Product/Design/Engineering.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance and maintain UI solutions across Lightspeed in Kanban delivery.
• Develop dashboards, pipeline visualisations and configuration editors.
• Write clean, well-tested frontend code.
• Diagnose issues with users and engineers and deliver solutions.
• Improve performance, usability, architecture and code quality.
• Use AI coding assistants responsibly and validate code.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to meet user needs.
