Job summary

The Byrne Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Front Office Supervisor to lead our front desk team in Galway, Ireland. You will ensure friendly, efficient check-in/out, upsell opportunities, and superb guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will drive a positive guest experience, supervise reception staff, and maintain high standards across our three-star or higher hotels within the group, including strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a reception role in a hotel environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent English, additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-in/check-out efficiently and upsell as appropriate.
• Manage reservations by phone and email per company standards.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth guest experience.
• Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail in all tasks.
