Job summary

Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Ireland, invites applications for a Front Office Receptionist/Guest Relations Associate. You will be the first point of contact, delivering warm, personalised service and ensuring guests' arrivals and departures are seamless.

We seek a polished hospitality professional with 1-2 years front office experience, fluent English and exceptional communication. Experience with Hotsoft and Tablepath is desirable; full training provided in a luxury 4- or 5-star

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests throughout their stay with warmth and discretion.
• Manage reservations and room allocations, check-in and check-out procedures.
• Handle billing and correspondence, coordinating with hotel colleagues to ensure seamless service.
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and provide personalised recommendations.
• Maintain guest profiles and ensure accuracy of room allocations and billing details.

As a member of our Front Office team, you will play an important role in creating memorable stays, anticipating our guests’ needs and ensuring every arrival, departure and interaction is delivered with warmth, elegance and genuine Irish hospitality.

The Role

As one of the first and most important points of contact for our guests, you will ensure that every experience is seamless and thoughtfully delivered.

Your responsibilities will include welcoming and assisting guests throughout their stay, managing reservations and room allocations, completing check-in and check-out procedures, handling billing and correspondence, and working closely with colleagues across the hotel to deliver an exceptional and highly personalised guest experience.

We are seeking a polished and passionate hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering service at the highest level.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• 1-2 years' previous Front Office experience within a 4-star or 5-star luxury hotel


• Fluent written and spoken English


• Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills


• A warm, confident and professional manner


• Exceptional attention to detail and presentation


• A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences


• Experience with Hotsoft and Tablepath is desirable

You Will

• Extend a warm, gracious and professional welcome to every guest


• Deliver a seamless arrival and departure experience


• Manage reservations, guest enquiries and correspondence with care and efficiency


• Ensure room allocations, guest profiles and billing details are accurate and thoughtfully managed


• Anticipate guest needs and respond to individual requests with discretion and attention to detail


• Build a strong knowledge of the hotel, its experiences and the surrounding area in order to provide considered recommendations


• Work closely with colleagues throughout the hotel to ensure each guest enjoys a seamless stay


• Maintain the highest standards of personal presentation, professionalism, discretion and guest confidentiality

Hours

8-hour shifts, five days over seven, including weekends and bank holidays.
