Matrix Recruitment Group is partnering with a family-run hospitality facility in Tullamore to recruit a Front Office Manager. The role oversees the Front Office/Reception team, guest check-in/out, billing, and daily operations, while ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth inter-department collaboration.

Ideal candidates will have previous Front Office management experience in hospitality, strong customer service, people management skills, and solid IT/CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office/Reception management experience in hospitality.
• Strong customer service focus in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent people management and staff development abilities.
• Experience managing staff rotas and daily operations.
• Strong IT skills and CRM/inhouse systems experience.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Front Office and Reception team.
• Oversee guest arrivals, departures, billing and daily front office operations.
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally.
• Manage staff rotas, training, development and performance.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, cash-handling and security procedures.
• Work closely with Reservations, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure clear communication and effective shift handovers.
• Support the Rooms Division Manager in achieving departmental and hotel objectives.
