Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in Ireland. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and work under the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager to deliver friendly, efficient service to hotel guests.

The role requires previous experience, flexibility for mornings/evenings/weekends, and a good command of English. Micros experience and hotel experience are advantageous in this high-volume environment.

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility to work mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Have good knowledge of food and wine and offer recommendations.
• Be courteous and professional at all times and upsell where possible.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and restaurant and serve guests with food and beverage.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need
