Job summary

Diageo is seeking two highly organised Account Executives for the Retail Channel and RTM team on a 12-month maternity leave contract in Ireland. You will support the delivery of commercial plans across major retail and wholesale customers, reporting to a Senior National Account Manager or National Account Manager.

This role offers exposure to customer planning, forecasting, trade investment, and cross-functional leadership within a fast-paced FMCG environment, with emphasis on accuracy,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Sales Support, Commercial Administration, Customer Service or FMCG.
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in developing a career in Key Account Management.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of key retail and wholesale customers.
• Assist in delivering Joint Business Plans (JBPs), promotional programmes and customer growth initiatives.
• Prepare customer presentations, business reviews and commercial recommendations using internal and external market data.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of customer plans.
