Job summary

Weston Aviation at Cork Airport is seeking a Flight Support Executive to join our busy Flight Operations team. The role blends outdoor airport duties with office-based Flight Operations administration, providing high levels of customer service and professional support in all weathers.

You will handle handling requests, meet VIP passengers, marshal aircraft, arrange flight services, and prepare documents. A full Irish driving licence, DBS background check, medical and the ability to work shifts

FLIGHT Support Executive

Weston Aviation is looking to recruit a Flight Support Executive to join our busy Flight Operations team at Cork Airport.

The role requires a hands‑on approach combining working outside in a busy airport operations environment with supporting office‑based Flight Operations administrative duties. Although previous experience working in an aviation environment is preferred, our ideal candidate is someone with a passion to deliver exceptional levels of customer service, happy to work outside in all weathers, and is professional, friendly with a positive, can‑do attitude. Full training will be given.

Main responsibilities

• Processing handling requests
• Meeting and greeting VIP passengers and crew
• Marshalling and chocking aircraft
• Daily administrative duties as required
• Dealing efficiently with phone enquiries
• Arranging flight support services, such as fuel, catering, etc.
• Preparing flight documents for crew
• Invoice preparation

Individual requirements

• A passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer service
• Previous experience within an aviation environment is desired
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Telephone manner and written communications are to be polished and accurate
• Willingness to work shifts and have a flexible response to short notice operational changes

This is a full‑time contract (40 hours per week) on a shift pattern that will include early morning, late evening and weekend working. You will be provided with a company phone to provide out of hours phone and email Flight Operations support, which is shared on a rotation basis with the team. Company uniform is also provided. We also offer a competitive salary and other benefits.

You will require a full Irish driving licence and be able to provide a Basic Criminal Check (DBS) and a five year background check. A medical is also required.

Pay

€27,000.00–€34,000.00 per year
