Job summary

The Maryborough Hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef on a fixed-term 1 year contract to join our pastry team. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and maintain a pastry section of excellence, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to the kitchen.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of pastry experience, strong teamwork, and a passion for quality. This on-site role offers a supportive team, opportunities for growth, and a positive work environment in Cork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to confidently manage and organise the pastry section.
• Strong knowledge of the food industry, pastry techniques and current trends.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Professional presentation and a positive attitude at all times.
• A full and valid working visa is required.
