Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman or similar role.
• Strong background with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Experience on large-scale building projects (€10m+)
• Excellent eye for detail and strong quality focus
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and tight programmes

Responsibilities

Our client a national building contractor are looking to hire a Finishing Manager

€30M commercial project in Dublin 7 due to finish September 2027

Duties:

• Oversee all finishing works to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on site
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all finishing activities
• Monitor programme progress and support short-term planning
• Carry out snagging, quality inspections, and ensure defect-free handover
• Maintain site records, reporting, and daily progress updates
• Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and wider project team
• Ensure materials, workmanship, and finishes meet specification standards
• Support site logistics and coordination of finishing sequences

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman or similar role
