Job summary

3e Luxury Services in Galway is seeking an experienced Finishing Site Foreman to oversee the final trades on a high-quality construction project. You will work with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and the project team to keep works on programme and ready for handover.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a solid background in residential, commercial or mixed-use developments. Irish Health and Safety awareness and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Finishing Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades and sequencing is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of Irish health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades on site.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship throughout the finishing phase.
• Manage daily activities of subcontractors and direct labour.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure timely completion of works.

The Role

As Finishing Site Foreman, you will be responsible for managing the final stages of construction, ensuring all finishing trades deliver work safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors and project team to ensure projects are completed on programme and ready for handover.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Finishing Site Foreman or in a similar site supervisory role
• Strong background in residential, commercial or mixed-use construction projects
• Excellent knowledge of finishing trades and construction sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Good understanding of Irish health and safety legislation
• Competent IT skills; experience with construction management software is an advantage
• Full Irish driving licence

Desirable

• Relevant construction qualification or trade background
• Safe Pass, Manual Handling and other relevant site certifications
• First Aid certification would be advantageous
• Experience working with main contractors on large-scale construction projects
