Job summary

3D Personnel is recruiting a Finishing Foreman/Manager for a leading Irish Main Contractor in Galway. You will oversee day-to-day activities from 1st fix to handover, reporting to Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager, and collaborating with site teams and subcontractors.

The role requires oversight of on-site programming, labour coordination, subcontractor management, and a strong focus on safety and quality. An carpentry background is preferred, with a track record on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience on large scale project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work to strict schedules.
• Preferably come from a time served carpentry background.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily and weekly programmes and issue programme detail to sub-contractors.
• Attend weekly management team meetings for the Construction team.
• Maintain the site diary – record manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keep notes of site activities.
• Compile labour allocation sheets.
• Assist with the control of plant and equipment on site.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
• Manage health and safety issues on site.
• Motivate labourers and sub-contractors.

Finishing Foreperson / Manager

Location:- Galway (Ongoing / Long term work)

Salary: €75K - €80K (DOE) + Package.

Finishing Foreman opportunity for one of Ireland's leading Main Contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible along with the site team for the day-to-day running of the project from 1st fix to handover while reporting to the Contracts Manager and or Sr Site Manager / PM and working closely with the Site Team Members and Sub-contractors.

Role
