Job summary

Radius Business Solutions Ireland Limited is hiring a Financial Operations Specialist to enhance finance operations across billing, revenue management, cash collections and reporting. You will work with stakeholders to ensure accuracy, integrity and continuous improvement, developing dashboards and performance metrics.

You will support month-end and year-end activities, drive process automation, and provide data-driven insights to support planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance operations, financial analysis, billing or revenue management.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience producing financial reports, reconciliations and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis & Reporting: reconcile high-volume data to ensure billing accuracy and revenue integrity.
• Produce regular financial and performance reports, including volume and margin analysis.
• Monitor billing activity, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and performance metrics.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase automation and improve efficiency.
• Act as a subject matter expert to maximise the value of finance systems and tools.
• Maintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide data-driven insights to support business planning and decision-making.

Job Description

The Financial Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement of finance operations across billing, revenue management, cash collections and reporting. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help maintain financial integrity, improve processes and provide insights that support business performance.Key Responsibilities:Financial Analysis & ReportingReconcile high-volume transactional data to ensure billing accuracy and revenue integrity.Produce regular financial and performance reports, including volume and margin analysis.Monitor billing activity, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.Support month-end and year-end reporting and reconciliation activities.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and performance metrics.Process Improvement & SystemsIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, increase automation and improve efficiency.Support finance system enhancements and business improvement projects.Review existing workflows and implement solutions that improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.Act as a subject matter expert, helping the business maximise the value of finance systems and tools.Financial Controls & ComplianceMaintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.Monitor operational risks and implement control improvements where required.Maintain process documentation and support internal and external audits.Business PartneringProvide data-driven insights to support business planning and decision-making.Act as a key contact for invoicing and finance-related queries.Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes, reporting and operational effectiveness.Financial OperationsSupport business-critical Direct Debit collections, managing substantial weekly cash flows.Oversee billing, revenue tracking, financial administration and reporting activities.Ensure timely invoicing and accurate revenue recognition.Maintain the accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems.Skills & ExperienceExperience in finance operations, financial analysis, billing or revenue management.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.Experience producing financial reports, reconciliations and performance analysis.Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining data analysis, operational ownership and continuous improvement to help drive business success.
