Job summary

Spot Recruitment is seeking a Finance Director for a multi-site packaging business in Ireland. The role carries full P&L ownership for a c.€100m unit, reporting to the divisional CFO, with responsibility for controls and timely reporting across sites.

You will lead finance integration for acquisitions and partner with the General Manager and senior leadership to drive commercial decisions. ACA/ACCA with 5+ PQE and manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with 5+ years PQE in finance leadership.
• Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong commercial partnering with senior leadership and divisional CFO.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for a c.€100m packaging business unit across sites.
• Maintain internal controls and reporting frameworks at site level and to group.
• Lead finance integration for acquired sites, aligning reporting and systems.
• Partner with General Manager and senior leadership to drive commercial decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

• This role is Finance Director for a multi-site, manufacturing business unit generating circa €100 million in revenue.
• Commercially-driven environment offering exposure to senior stakeholders and quick progression.

The Role:

• Full P&L ownership of a c.€100m packaging business unit spanning multiple sites, reporting into the divisional CFO.
• Ensuring internal financial controls and financial frameworks at site level and ensuring timely, accurate reports to group.
• Leading finance integration for acquired businesses, aligning reporting, systems and controls across newly acquired sites.
• Partnering with the General Manager and senior leadership team to drive commercial and operational decision-making across the sites.

The Person:

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with 5+ PQE, ideally with manufacturing sector exposure.
• Proven experience as Finance Director OR Financial Controller or Finance Manager in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Commercially minded business partner, comfortable operating at a senior level with direct line into divisional leadership.
