Job summary

Croom Group Assets Ltd, owners of Croom Concrete Ltd, seeks a Finance Director to shape the next growth phase with direct access to the owners.

You will strengthen financial control, drive commercial insight, oversee budgeting and reporting, and lead a growing finance team. This hands-on role sits in a manufacturing/related environment in Munster.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and post-qualification experience.
• Experience as Financial Controller or Finance Director.
• Strong costing, stock and WIP valuation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the owners on strategy, investment, budgeting and medium-term planning.
• Own management reporting, costing, stock valuation and financial controls.
• Provide commercial insight on margin, pricing, product mix and contracts.
• Lead cash flow, working capital, risk management and develop the finance team.

This newly created Finance Director role reports directly to the owners and comes with a clear mandate: strengthen financial control, improve commercial insight and help shape the next phase of growth.

Who Our Client Is Seeking

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience
• Financial Controller / Finance Director experience, ideally within manufacturing or a related environment
• Strong practical expertise in costing, stock and work-in-progress valuation
• Commercially curious, hands-on and confident enough to challenge constructively as well as advise
