Job summary

TES Recruitment is pleased to present a Financial Controller – Manufacturing opportunity in Dublin. You will head the Finance team, be involved in senior decision making and strategy development for the site, and drive financial performance.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant with post-qualification experience, including 2+ years as a Financial Controller in manufacturing. You will ensure robust controls, manage audits, and partner with other functions to optimise profitability.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accounting qualification essential.
• 5 years post-qualified experience in accounting with people management.
• At least 2 years in a Financial Controller position in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly management accounting reports and KPI tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial accounts and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain strong control environment to manage financial risk.
• Monitor budgets against forecasts.
• Drive cash flow management, forecasting and controls.
• Lead internal and external audits.
• Oversee Tax and Statutory compliance.
• Assist in statutory returns and regulatory compliance.

Financial Controller - Manufacturing – Dublin

This is an excellent organisation who are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to head up the Finance team. The role is joining a strong Management team and will be heavily involved in the senior decision making and strategy development for the site. The company are a very well-known operation in their field, and they offer an excellent environment for the successful person to grow and develop.

Responsibilities

• The preparation of weekly management accounting reports and tracking of KPI’s.
• The preparation of monthly financial accounts and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts for the site.
• Maintenance a strong control environment to manage financial risk.
• Monitoring of budgets against forecasts.
• Drive cash flow management, financial forecasting and financial controls.
• Drive and manage all internal and external audits.
• Drive and processes for Tax and Statutory compliance.
• Assist in preparation of statutory returns for the operation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure that processes and procedures for the finance function are accurately documented.
• Develop accounting procedures that are fitting for the business where needed.
• Become an expert on the systems used by the Finance team.
• Support cross-departmental collaboration on all finance matters.
• Drive all the above using the team that report into this role.

Qualifications and experience:

• Fully qualified accountancy qualification is essential.
• 5 years’ post qualified experience in accounting role with previous people management.
• At least 2 of those years in a Financial Controller position in a manufacturing company is essential.
