Responsibilities

  • Monthly and year end reporting, investigation of variances and overall results to assist business performance.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging existing and new technologies to enhance the control environment and improve all elements of financial information.
  • Regular commercial reporting to Executive management providing insights that are accurate and timely to support strategic planning and decision making.
  • Maintain a strong control environment during a period of growth and expansion.
  • Contribute towards the strategies for driving revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
  • Provide strong balance sheet and working capital management.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting process.

We are delighted to be working with a fast-growing Irish brand to help identify a part-time Financial Controller. This is a hands-on Financial Controller role with broad exposure across Finance. It will involve responsibility for day-to-day Finance activities, month-end reporting, cashflow management as well as implementing best practice systems and controls. There are also commercial aspects of the role including margin and channel analysis, providing value-add information to the leadership team. Working closely with a charismatic and well-respected leader, the Financial Controller will have an opportunity to be close to the decision-making as well as being part of an exciting growth story.

This will suit someone who enjoys the hands-on entrepreneurial nature of an SME environment, and who has a great energy to bring to the team.
