Job summary

STRIVE Search is partnering with a growing logistics company to recruit an experienced Financial Controller who will own the finance function and provide commercial insight to support ongoing growth.

You will manage monthly management accounts, cash flow, tax compliance, and month-end processes, while delivering robust reporting and strategic analysis to senior management. The role offers flexible hybrid working and a clear path to shape the finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA credentials.
• Strong management accounting and commercial analysis experience.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Experience within logistics, transport, distribution or a similar operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial commentary to senior management.
• Analyse profitability, margins and operational performance.
• Oversee day-to-day finance functions including invoicing, ledgers and credit control.
• Manage cash flow, tax compliance, month-end and year-end processes.
