Job summary

HireIQ seeks a professionally qualified accountant to lead the monthly management accounts process in a large, international organisation in Ireland. You will work with the wider finance team to ensure timely reporting and robust month-end closes.

You will support statutory financial statements, act as the main contact for external auditors, and drive improvements in processes and controls. The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management and a focus on accuracy and governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with ongoing membership.
• Strong financial reporting and month-end experience.
• Experience in large/complex organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Process improvement with focus on accuracy, controls and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly management accounts preparation with the finance team.
• Support statutory financial statements production.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors.
• Drive timely and accurate month-end close per group deadlines.
• Partner across the business to embed strong governance and controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and finance efficiency.

Your Experience

• Professionally qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong financial reporting and month-end experience
• Comfortable operating within a large or complex organisation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Process improvement mindset with a focus on accuracy, controls and efficiency
