Job summary

Quinn and Associates is seeking a Finance Analyst in South Dublin to take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis, reporting to the CFO.

You will build rolling forecast models in Excel, analyze drivers of gross margin and other KPIs, and develop dashboards in Power BI and Excel to give leadership clear visibility of trading performance.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset
• Ability to question assumptions and drive insights

Our client is an established Irish business entering an exciting phase of growth. They are looking for a Finance Analyst to take real ownership of budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.

This is an individual contributor role rather than a management position. Reporting to the CFO, you will focus on the numbers and analysis that inform business decisions, rather than day-to-day transactional processing.

What you’ll do

You will own the annual budgeting process, build and maintain rolling forecast models in Excel, and analyse what is driving movements in gross margin and other key performance measures.

You will also develop dashboards in Power BI and Excel, giving the leadership team clear and timely visibility of trading performance.

What we’re looking for

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with:

• A genuinely commercial and analytical mindset
• The confidence to ask questions and challenge assumptions
• Power BI experience
• Significant interest in AI

This role will suit someone who wants meaningful ownership, exposure to senior decision-makers and a credible path towards a more senior finance position, without needing years of management experience to get there.

Location: South Dublin. The role is primarily onsite, ideally five days a week.
