Job summary

Our client in West Dublin is seeking a qualified accountant to join as Senior FP&A Accountant on a permanent basis. The role offers flexible working with 3 days in the office weekly and extensive exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.

You will work closely with the Head of FP&A, own financial models, perform KPI analysis and support commercial decision making, while also driving process improvements and business partnering with operational managers.

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting professional with 3–5 years post-qualification FP&A experience.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience partnering with non-financial stakeholders and presenting to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of FP&A to prepare quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts.
• Create and own financial models for commercial decision making.
• Analyse KPIs and perform cash flow forecasting on an ongoing basis.
• Partner with operational managers to develop business cases and ensure timely financial information.
• Identify process improvements and support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Our client is a new and fast-growing Irish organisation based in West Dublin. They are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team as an Senior FP&A Accountant on a permanent basis. The business offers flexible working arrangements with 3 days a week in the office.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role provides an excellent step into a high caliber FP&A team. Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the Head of FP&A in preparing and coordinating the quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts;
• Preparation and ownership of a range Financial Models to be used in commercial decision making;
• Perform on-going KPI analysis and cash flow forecasting;
• Business partnering with operational managers to develop business cases and ensure flow of financial information;
• Continually identify areas for process improvement;
• Ad-hoc projects as they arise.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accounting professional with 3 to 5 years post qualified experience in FP&A;
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills;
• Prior industry experience in a commercial role preferred;
• Self-starter and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders;
• Advanced excel user and strong system skills preferred.
