Job summary

The Panel in Dublin is recruiting for a Head of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting and end-to-end variance analysis. You will build critical financial models for strategic decisions and provide insights to senior leadership.

You will partner with department heads, manage reporting cycles, and shape the FP&A function including team development and systems design. Hybrid work is available in the South Dublin office.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with several years' PQE in a large company environment.
• Advanced Power BI and financial modelling skills.
• Commercially focused approach with experience in high-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the group's budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis end to end.
• Build and maintain financial models underpinning strategic and investment decisions.
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycle.
• Partner with department heads to align operational plans with financial targets.
• Support M&A activity and post-deal integration.
• Recruit, lead and develop a team of FP&A analysts.
• Design the systems and processes for the function.

My clients is a large plc, with operations across Europe. They are currently recruiting for a Head of FP&A for their offices in South Dublin.

Reporting to: Group Financial Controller with regular exposure to the CFO

• Own the group's budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis end to end
• Build and maintain the financial models that underpin strategic and investment decisions
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations for senior leadership
• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycle
• Partner with department heads to keep operational plans aligned with financial targets
• Support M&A activity and post-deal integration
• Recruit, lead and develop a team of FP&A analysts
• Design the systems and processes for the function

The person:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with several years' pqe qualification experience within a large company environment
• Advanced Power BI and financial modelling skills
• Commercially focused
• C-suite reporting experience an advantage

Salary: €130k - €150k plus benefits. Hybrid working available.
