Darwin Hawkins is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join a large Financial Services organisation in Dublin on a hybrid basis. The role sits within an experienced finance team with broad exposure to financial reporting, analysis, controls and projects.

You will prepare and review periodic reporting, analyse movements in results, support governance processes and work with internal teams and external providers to ensure accurate information.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
  • 1+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Experience within Financial Services, audit or regulated environment would be beneficial.
  • Strong financial accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand financial performance and investigate movements in results.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-focused with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing periodic financial reporting and supporting information.
  • Analysing financial performance and investigating significant movements and trends.
  • Producing clear financial information for stakeholders across the business.
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of financial controls and governance processes.
  • Working with internal teams and external service providers to ensure the quality and accuracy of financial information.
  • Coordinating information and supporting documentation required as part of audit processes.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and ways of working.
  • Supporting finance projects and the implementation of changes to systems and processes.
