Job summary

Osborne Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a North Dublin location on an 11-month fixed-term contract.

The role will involve financial planning, management accounting, budgeting and costing, and providing insightful analysis to support senior management. Strong Excel and accounting system experience are essential. DOE applies, with a 11-month FTC in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification required or in progress.
• Experience in financial accounting or management accounting roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and costing knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good Excel and financial systems experience.
• Excellent communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Financial Accountant – 11 months FTC – North Dublin

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant for our client based in North Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their career across financial planning, management accounting, budgeting, and costing.

Salary: 45-66k DOE

Full-Time 11 months FTC

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and support financial planning and forecasting activities
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Assist with annual budgets and ongoing reforecasting
• Analyse financial performance, variances, costs, and margins
• Support costing activities and provide financial insight to the business
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strong financial controls
• Work with operational teams to understand financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• Relevant accounting qualification or working towards qualification
• Previous experience in a Financial Accounting or Management Accounting role
• Strong understanding of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and costing
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
• Good Excel and financial systems experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
