Principle is recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for its International Statutory Controllership team in Dublin City Centre. The role focuses on statutory reporting across EMEA entities within a modernising, AI-enabled finance function.

Hybrid working is offered with 3 days in-office and 2 days from home, on a near 11-month contract. Salary is €105,000 per year, with responsibilities spanning financial statements, audits, tax, and IFRS/US GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong statutory reporting experience.
• 1–4 years post-qualification in multinational or international env.
• Experience across multiple entities or reporting jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP or local standards.

Financial Accountant - International Statutory Reporting

Dublin City Centre | €105,000 per annum | 11-Month Contract | Hybrid

We are recruiting an experienced, qualified Financial Accountant to join the International Statutory Controllership team of one of the world's leading global technology companies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a financial accountant with strong statutory reporting experience to work within a complex, international finance environment, supporting multiple EMEA legal entities.

The team is at the forefront of modernising financial reporting processes, with a strong focus on automation, AI-enabled accounting solutions and continuous improvement.

The Role

Working as part of an international finance team, you will support statutory compliance and financial reporting across a portfolio of EMEA entities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, reviewing and coordinating statutory financial statements across multiple legal entities.
• Supporting local statutory reporting requirements and US GAAP reporting processes.
• Coordinating statutory audits, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting corporation tax, VAT and other statutory compliance processes.
• Reviewing work completed by outsourced accounting and compliance partners.
• Contributing to financial reporting improvements, automation initiatives and AI-enabled accounting workflows.
• Supporting the implementation and enhancement of financial reporting systems and processes.

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in statutory financial reporting, including the preparation, review and finalisation of financial statements.
• Ideally 1-4 years' post-qualification experience, with exposure to a multinational or international accounting environment.
• Experience working across multiple legal entities or reporting jurisdictions would be particularly relevant.
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP or local accounting standards.
• Genuine interest in AI and automation, ideally with practical examples of applying these technologies to accounting or reporting activities.
• Strong Excel, analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment.

Experience with Oracle Fusion or statutory reporting systems would be advantageous.
