Job summary

Hunter Savage is partnering with a growing business in Tipperary to appoint a Finance Director. This newly created role reports to the CFO and combines financial reporting, planning and strategic input into commercial decisions.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow and controls, and drive improvements across finance processes. Open to experienced finance leaders seeking the next step.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience overseeing cash flow management and controls.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
• Prior involvement with year-end and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely financial and management reporting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, explaining variances and identifying actions.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial performance.
• Provide the CFO with clear analysis to support planning and commercial decisions.
• Review financial controls, reporting systems and processes, implementing improvements where needed.
• Work with colleagues across the business to understand performance and support budget management.
• Coordinate year-end reporting and liaise with external auditors and advisers.
