Job summary

Capaciteam Limited, a growing tech company in Ireland, is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join its team. You will diagnose and resolve issues on charging hardware, software, and connectivity, both remotely and on customer sites.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strong customer service, and the ability to manage tickets from start to finish. Travel to client sites is expected, and knowledge of IoT or energy tech is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support, field service or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware and software.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and networking.
• Experience with ticketing systems (Salesforce, Freshdesk, Zoho or HubSpot).
• Proactive, hands-on with ownership of issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for charging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Attend on-site and remote customer sites to investigate faults.
• Guide customers through remote troubleshooting.
• Manage tickets through to resolution within SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering or product teams.
• Monitor backend systems and networks for performance.
• Assist with stock checks and equipment handovers.
