Job summary

Finning (Ireland) Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our EP Team. You will respond to on-site service requests, diagnose problems, and provide detailed information to enable quotes within cost and time constraints.

The role includes travel to customer sites, coordinating with site management and performing repairs to the expected standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including annual bonus, tool allowance, healthcare, pension, company share scheme, and a company van

Qualifications

LDV driving licence.
Formally apprenticed trained (NVQ Level 3).
Experience with heavy diesel and gas powered power generation equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide arrival time estimates to on-site requests based on job instructions and customer location.
Coordinate with site management to register presence and follow site procedures.
Diagnose probable causes of equipment problems and supply comprehensive details to support quoting.
Identify parts required for repair and manage delivery expectations for re-visit scheduling.
Perform repair and service work per the plan and restore machine to required standards.
