The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team in Dublin. This is a full-time hybrid role, offering a mix of on-site work and occasional remote flexibility. You will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced electrical and transport technology systems. The role involves working on cutting-edge infrastructure projects that directly contribute to safer and smarter transport networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work across ITS and EV charging systems
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance
• Support the installation and commissioning of technologies including EV chargers, ANPR systems, CCTV, barrier systems, and road safety equipment
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards, safety regulations, and industry best practice
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality system deployments
• Provide responsive troubleshooting and on-site technical support when required

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and technical drawings
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults effectively
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering principles and safety standards
• Relevant electrical qualification and certifications (e.g., Electrician Apprenticeship / Trade Qualification)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Desirable Experience or interest in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

• Exposure to EV charging infrastructure, CCTV, ANPR, or traffic management systems
• Experience working in field-based or infrastructure environments
