Job summary

Axcelis Technologies GmbH is seeking a field-based service professional to perform on-site installation, diagnose and repair complex semiconductor equipment, and ensure the operational quality of system hardware. You will act as the primary liaison with customers on technical and administrative matters for assigned projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of professional experience and involves guiding customers in operating and maintaining their systems while interfacing

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills are required.
• Ability to instruct customers on operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment.
• Oversee operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for projects.
• Interpret customer needs and determine if problem resolution is sales, support, or engineering responsibility.
