Axcelis Technologies GmbH is seeking a field-based service professional to perform on-site installation, diagnose and repair complex semiconductor equipment, and ensure the operational quality of system hardware. You will act as the primary liaison with customers on technical and administrative matters for assigned projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of professional experience and involves guiding customers in operating and maintaining their systems while interfacing

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills are required.
• Ability to instruct customers on operation and maintenance.

Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approve operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers. This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking. This job provides customer support.

Education/Experience:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of professional experience.
