Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site repair, installation and maintenance of complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites across EMEA. You will troubleshoot, diagnose issues and minimize downtime while maintaining customer relations and engineering records.

The role requires a technical degree, extensive field service experience, and willingness to travel within Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• Technical Degree/Diploma/Bachelor’s in Microelectronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or related field.
• 5+ years of Field Service experience; or Master’s with 3+ years; or equivalent.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment installation, maintenance or repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance and installation/start-up services for Lam’s equipment at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem-solving to minimize downtime.
• Produce accurate records and reports coordinating between Lam and customers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to customer satisfaction.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required across Europe.
