Job summary

Cpl in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, is seeking Field Service Engineers for a full-time permanent on-site role at a leading semiconductor facility. You will install, qualify, maintain and troubleshoot sophisticated equipment, with opportunities for OEM training and international certification.

The role requires strong electrical/electronic/mechatronic background, fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams. Travel to the USA/Taiwan may be involved.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum Level 7 engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Level 6 trade qualification considered with significant relevant experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, automation or high-tech envs is advantageous.
• Recent graduates with strong technical aptitude encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and qualify semiconductor equipment per OEM specs and cleanroom procedures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration to maximise uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation faults on capital equipment.
• Perform RCA investigations and implement sustainable technical solutions.
• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits and continuous improvement projects.
