Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to install, upgrade, repair and maintain CMP capital equipment in cleanroom environments at customer sites. You will diagnose hardware, electrical and PLC software issues, perform installations and upgrades, and maintain the installation equipment base.

You will read technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and report weekly on system performance to customers and local management.

Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment with CMP equipment.
Proven ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
NFQ level 6 or NFQ level 7 qualification in a technical field.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site field service support for CMP capital equipment in cleanrooms: installations, upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Analyse, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment hardware, electrical, and PLC software issues.
Perform installations and upgrades; maintain installation equipment base at customer sites.
Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
Report weekly to onsite customers and local management on system performance and activities.
