Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an on-site field service specialist to install, upgrade, repair and maintain CMP capital equipment in cleanroom environments. You will analyse and troubleshoot EPME CMP equipment problems and perform preventive maintenance at customer sites.

The role requires technical qualifications (NFQ Level 6 or Level 7) and hands-on experience in HVM environments, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly performance and activity reports to onsite customers and local management.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex CMP capital equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Analyse, diagnose, and troubleshoot EPME CMP equipment problems.
• Perform installations, repairs, upgrades as well as preventive maintenance on CMP systems installed at the customer site.
• In charge of maintaining an assigned installation equipment base.
• Report out to both the onsite customer and local management on a weekly basis detailing system performance and ongoing activities.

Requirements

• Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HVM environment or an Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year experience
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software (PLC) systems is desirable
• Must be able to demonstrate effectively and clearly the ability to deliver clear and concise information to both the internal and external customers
• Eligible to live and work in Ireland
