Job summary

Jobtailor is recruiting for an on-site Field Service Engineer to service CMP capital equipment in a cleanroom environment in Ireland. The role involves installations, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance, with day and night shifts as required.

You will diagnose complex issues and communicate findings to customers and management, while preserving spare equipment and reporting weekly performance. Candidates should have NFQ level 6 or level 7 qualifications with relevant experience in HVM

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with minimum 3 years’ experience in a HVM environment.
• Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with minimum 1 year experience.
• Extensive troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and PLC systems is desirable.
• Ability to clearly communicate information to customers and internal teams.
• Eligible to live and work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field service including installations, upgrades, repairs and maintenance of CMP capital equipment in a cleanroom.
• Work rotating days and night shifts; analyse, diagnose and troubleshoot EPME CMP equipment problems.
• Perform installations, repairs and preventive maintenance on CMP systems at customer sites.
• Maintain an assigned installation equipment base.
• Report weekly to onsite customers and local management on performance and activities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex CMP capital equipment in a cleanroom environment
• Working to a shift pattern of days and night shifts, analyse, diagnose, and troubleshoot EPME CMP equipment problems
• Perform installations, repairs, upgrades as well as preventive maintenance on CMP systems installed at the customer site
• Maintain an assigned installation equipment base
• Report out to both the onsite customer and local management on a weekly basis detailing system performance and ongoing activities

Requirements

• Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HVM environment
• Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year experience
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software (PLC) systems is desirable
• Must be able to demonstrate effectively and clearly the ability to deliver clear and concise information to both the internal and external customers
• Eligible to live and work in Ireland
