Proclinical is recruiting a Field Calibration Engineer for a leading Medical Devices organisation in Ireland. You will calibrate and service chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation across regulated environments in North Leinster.

The role requires a qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering, plus experience in calibration or instrumentation roles and a clean driving licence. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in calibration, service, maintenance or instrumentation roles.
• Experience working with ISO quality standards.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, certify and perform preventive maintenance on chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation.
• Test and calibrate temperature-controlled equipment, temperature probes and weighing systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to maintain equipment performance and accuracy.
• Complete calibration and service documentation in line with quality standards.
• Work within regulated environments and adhere to quality and compliance requirements.

Proclinical is currently working on an exciting Field Calibration Engineer opportunity with a leading provider of laboratory and analytical instrumentation, supporting customers across laboratory, manufacturing, and regulated environments throughout Ireland.

Territory: North Leinster

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out calibration, certification, and preventative maintenance of Chromatography / Mass Spec instrumentation.
• Testing and calibrating temperature-controlled equipment, temperature probes, and weighing systems.
• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs to maintain equipment performance and accuracy.
• Completing calibration and service documentation in line with quality standards.
• Working within regulated environments and adhering to relevant quality and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Experience across Chromatography / Mass Spec
• Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a calibration, service, maintenance, or instrumentation role.
• Experience working within quality systems such as ISO standards.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
