Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a Field Calibration Engineer to support customers across Ireland in a leading medical devices laboratory environment. The role covers calibration, certification and maintenance of chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments in North Leinster.

You will work within regulated environments, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while travelling as required. A full driving licence is essential and a strong fault-finding skillset is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience across Chromatography and Mass Spec.
• Qualified in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in calibration, service, maintenance or instrumentation roles.
• Experience working with ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out calibration, certification and preventative maintenance of Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry instrumentation.
• Test and calibrate temperature-controlled equipment and weighing systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to maintain equipment performance.
• Complete calibration and service documentation in line with quality standards.
• Work within regulated environments and adhere to quality/compliance requirements.

Proclinical is currently working on an exciting Field Calibration Engineer opportunity with a leading provider of laboratory and analytical instrumentation, supporting customers across laboratory, manufacturing, and regulated environments throughout Ireland.

Territory: North Leinster

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out calibration, certification, and preventative maintenance of Chromatography / Mass Spec instrumentation.
• Testing and calibrating temperature-controlled equipment, temperature probes, and weighing systems.
• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs to maintain equipment performance and accuracy.
• Completing calibration and service documentation in line with quality standards.
• Working within regulated environments and adhering to relevant quality and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Experience across Chromatography / Mass Spec
• Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a calibration, service, maintenance, or instrumentation role.
• Experience working within quality systems such as ISO standards.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
