Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to join the Service team focused on Ireland and Northern Ireland. You will provide on-site technical support, perform maintenance, installation, and commissioning while travelling to client sites as required.

The role demands fault-finding ability, strong customer service, and the ability to work across engineering teams. A valid passport, driving license, and Safe Pass are required; frequent travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
• Ideally have an Electrical / Electro-Mechanical Qualification.
• Strong fault-finding ability.
• Excellent customer service mindset with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks as per customer requirements.
• Carry out start-up / installation / commissioning.
• Troubleshoot, fault-find and repair equipment as required.
• Support preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance.
• Provide on-site instruction in application, maintenance and operation of the products.
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance as required.
• Create Service Reports on work completed for sign-off.
• Prepare adequately before responding to field requests (travel, records, tools).
• Adhere to site rules and internal procedures.
