Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support on client sites in Ireland. The role emphasizes diagnosing system problems, performing PPM, warranty work, and commissioning, while building trusted relationships with customers and collaborating with service, sales and operations teams.

Ideal candidates will have field-based service experience, strong communication, and proficiency with diagnostic software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service or field-based technician role.
• Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system problems when servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and customer sites.
• Attend customer sites for Planned Preventative Maintenance, breakdowns, warranty work, hire and commissioning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Collaborate with Service desk, Sales, and Operations Team to share customer insights and use technical tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Generate regular reports on completed invoiced work orders.
• Communicate updates to supervisors, regional service managers and senior technicians to drive continuous improvement.
