Job summary

HireHive seeks a Field Engineering Manager in Ireland to lead a team of 17 field engineers and oversee operations, network support, projects, installations and fault resolution. You will drive service quality, safety and continuous improvement across a diverse telecom environment.

You will coach staff, manage performance, plan resources and coordinate with logistics and customers to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
7–10 years' experience in telecommunications, networking, field services or infrastructure operations.
5+ years in people leadership/management roles with direct performance management.
Experience leading geographically dispersed field engineering teams in customer-facing environments.
Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of circa 17 field engineers to deliver high levels of operational and customer performance.
Ensure field services are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed service levels.
Manage day-to-day field operations, escalations and project delivery activities.
Coordinate with logistics, project managers and customers to plan field activities.
Identify talent, succession planning and development opportunities within the team.
Drive continuous improvement and a culture of safety, quality and learning.
