Job summary

HireHive is seeking an experienced Field Engineering Manager to lead a team of ~17 field engineers, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of operations, customer projects and service improvements across telecom environments.

You will drive performance, develop talent, manage budgets and coordinate with technical, logistics and commercial functions to meet client expectations and organisational goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• 7-10 years' experience in telecommunications, networking, field services or infrastructure operations.
• Minimum 5 years' proven experience in a people leadership/management role.
• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed field engineering teams in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience delivering critical operational services against demanding service levels and customer performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage a field engineering team of ~17 engineers to deliver high performance.
• Ensure safe, efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction across projects and operations.
• Drive project delivery: on-time, within scope and budget.
• Collaborate with Field Technical Specialist to raise engineering standards and competencies.
• Coordinate with Logistics, asset management and service delivery to optimize resources and tools.
• Manage costs, budgets and continuous improvement initiatives across field operations.
• Support incident management, escalations and stakeholder communications.
