Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced Field Line Manager to lead Chiller Service Engineers across Ireland. You will drive safety, efficiency, and profitable service delivery while developing a skilled team and strengthening customer relationships.

Key focus areas include resource planning, technical coaching, performance reviews, and collaboration with coordinators, sales, and specialists to deliver high-quality service across pharmaceutical, life sciences, and data centre environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising field-based engineering or service teams.
• Strong HVAC background including chillers, refrigeration, or industrial cooling.
• Proven experience in maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Experience managing customer relationships in pharma, life sciences, manufacturing, healthcare, data centres, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Chiller Service Engineers, driving high performance and customer focus.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and Zero Harm objectives are met.
• Oversee day-to-day field operations, resource planning, and service delivery commitments.
• Support engineers with technical escalations and complex troubleshooting.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and act as escalation point for service matters.
• Drive service growth opportunities and accurate service documentation.
