Job summary

Johnson Controls Ireland HVAC seeks a Field Line Manager to lead and develop a team of Chiller Service Engineers across Ireland, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable service delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, technical acumen in HVAC/chillers, and strong customer relationship management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field-based engineering or service teams.
• Strong technical background in HVAC, refrigeration, chillers or industrial cooling systems.
• Experience in maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience managing customer relationships in pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, healthcare, data centre, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Chiller Service Engineers to drive a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
• Oversee day-to-day field operations, resource planning, engineer utilisation, and service delivery.
• Support engineers with technical escalation and complex troubleshooting requirements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, and succession planning activities.
• Ensure accurate completion of service documentation, compliance records, and reporting.
