Job summary

Johnson Controls Ireland seeks a Cork-based Service Engineer to commission, service and maintain YORK chillers and heat pumps across customer facilities. You will be the primary technical contact for complex systems, delivering high-quality service within defined SLAs and safety protocols.

The role involves working with major clients in Pharma, Life Science, and High-Tech sectors, with a strong emphasis on health and safety and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 certificate is required.
• Experience with ammonia is advantageous.
• Trade qualification in refrigeration or industrial electrician with York chiller training is preferred.
• Safe Pass and manual handling certification required.
• Full clean Irish driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial water/air cooled chillers and heat pumps.
• Provide up-to-date site surveys, records and reports to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment.
• Work primarily with Cork's major clients in pharma, life sciences and high-tech sectors.
• Maintain health and safety standards and contribute to team success.
