Job summary

Samsic Facility Ireland is seeking reliable Facilities Operatives to support workplace services across client sites. The role involves meeting room setups, site checks, basic maintenance, furniture moves and day-to-day operational support.

Depending on site requirements, you may assist with cleaning duties during quieter periods to maintain high standards throughout the workplace. This is a practical, flexible role suited to hands-on individuals who take pride in their work.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, workplace services, maintenance or similar hands-on roles is desirable.
• Practical skills and confidence carrying out basic maintenance and general facilities tasks.
• Proactive approach with ability to identify issues and take action.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload.
• Good English communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up meeting rooms, including arranging furniture and keeping rooms clean and ready for use.
• Carry out regular floor walks and workplace checks to identify maintenance or housekeeping issues.
• Complete basic handyman tasks and minor repairs following health and safety procedures.
• Assist with furniture moves, workstation setups and relocation of equipment.
• Provide general facilities and workplace support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at client sites.
• Respond professionally to client and employee requests and complete tasks promptly.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties when required to maintain a presentable environment.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Follow all company policies, site procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
• Undertake additional facilities-related duties as required by the client or line manager.
