Job summary

Samsic Facility Ireland is seeking reliable Facilities Operatives to support workplace services across client sites. The role involves meeting room setups, site checks, basic maintenance, furniture moves and day-to-day operational support.

Depending on site requirements, you may assist with cleaning duties during quieter periods to maintain high standards throughout the workplace. This is a practical, flexible role suited to hands-on individuals who take pride in their work.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, workplace services, maintenance or similar hands-on roles is desirable.
• Practical skills and confidence carrying out basic maintenance and general facilities tasks.
• Proactive approach with ability to identify issues and take action.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload.
• Good English communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up meeting rooms, including arranging furniture and keeping rooms clean and ready for use.
• Carry out regular floor walks and workplace checks to identify maintenance or housekeeping issues.
• Complete basic handyman tasks and minor repairs following health and safety procedures.
• Assist with furniture moves, workstation setups and relocation of equipment.
• Provide general facilities and workplace support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at client sites.
• Respond professionally to client and employee requests and complete tasks promptly.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties when required to maintain a presentable environment.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Follow all company policies, site procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
• Undertake additional facilities-related duties as required by the client or line manager.

Role Overview

Samsic Facility Ireland is seeking reliable, hands-on and customer-focused Facilities Operatives to support workplace services across a number of our key client sites.

We have four opportunities available for individuals who take pride in maintaining professional, safe and well-organised working environments. The role will involve a variety of facilities and workplace support duties, including meeting room setups, general site checks, basic maintenance tasks, furniture moves and day-to-day operational support.

Depending on the site and operational requirements, the successful candidates may also assist with cleaning duties during quieter periods to ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the workplace.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and flexible individual who enjoys a varied role and takes a proactive approach to supporting clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up meeting rooms, including arranging furniture and ensuring rooms are clean, tidy and ready for use.

Requirements
